7/5-6/08 Carlson Creek Kayak/trek Jan Conitz, 463-3703 Moderate to hard Exciting trip. One half of group will kayak to mouth of Carlson Creek (off Taku River and meet the trekkers coming down the valley. They will then exchange roles. Call Jan for detauls.

7/12/08 Hawthorne Peak Steve Pearson, 790-1900 Moderate to hard 8:00 a.m. at trailhead. Call Steve to confirm trip, and recommended gear.

July, 2008 (?) Stikine River trip (7-10 days) Bob Sylvester, 321-1519 If enough interest. Call Bob early so he can determine if there is enough interest to set up. Will begin at Telegraph Creek. Quite a ride!

All trip participants are expected to bring: warm clothes, raingear, food, water, flashlight/headlamp, matches/lighter, firestarter, and whistle. See the basic list. And AVOID COTTON CLOTHING.
